More About Our Neighbourhood
Named after the Garden District of Toronto, in which it is located, New Gardens Residences have a distinguished history. Originally located on the site of a pine forest, in the 1800s the area on which New Garden Residences are located were developed into acres of lawns, orchards and gardens. Today, Allan Gardens, a park with a glass-domed plant conservatory, anchors the area and serves as its namesake. The Garden District is also home to heritage sites such as the Mackenzie House Museum, Gallery Arcturus and the Merchandise Building.
As certified Heritage Properties, New Garden Residences are historic treasures of downtown Toronto and preserve the area's past as well as signal its future. New Garden Residences were developed with the goal to maintain the green legacy of the area but with a modern twist. While featuring the heritage attributes throughout the properties, the interiors strive to take us forward with all the latest green amenities.
